Jaguar E-Type semi Lightweight FIA Specification.

This incredible car has been rebuilt from the original tub by M&C Wilkinson to Ultimate semi Lightweight E-Type specification.

The body tub has been completely refreshed to the latest Sayer specification with aluminium bonnet, doors, and boot lid. Also fitted with latest specification of FIA approved custom cage, Tillet seat, lightweight fire extinguisher and Sayer FIA approved fuel safety cell and full titanium exhaust system.

The engine is the latest specification Crosthwaite and Gardiner wide angle head engine, which is now accepted by Patrick Peter.

Also fitted is the Sayer specification FIA gearbox and differential together with the latest specification suspension.

The car has campaigned on three occasions and won two races, the first being the Equipe GTS race at Donington and the HSCC Dunlop - Jaguar Historic Trophy race at Oulton Park Gold Cup where it competed against a strong field of Jaguars one of which was driven by John Minshaw. After an hour long head to head race the car was first to the flag to take the win.

The car also achieved pole postion in the Jaguar challenge race at the Silverstone Classic in 2021.

With current FIA HTP papers valid until 2030 this is a truly unique opportunity to become the owner of a front running Jaguar E-Type semi lighweight. The engine has since last raced been updated, inspected and sealed, by Crosthwaite and Gardiner.
