This engine specification has been running in my DJ Racecars single seater since Alex Summers had the car in 2012 and I bought it in 2015 is very high specification. It’s been very reliable for me, and I ran so that I had two engines, swapping at end of each year to rebuilt one. Its specification has been improved at this rebuild to get some extra power but not been dyno’d to confirm yet.

Hayabusa Gen 1 engine with Gen 2 crank making it a 1340cc engine. Supercharged and running on Methanol putting out approx. 400bhp at the rear wheels. Running a Rotrex C38-91 supercharger. With bespoke DJ Racecars Plenum and Supercharger drive system included in the sale. Engine was rebuilt February 2020 and has not been run since. I have the engine map for DTA S80 or S100 ECU.

It’s based on a Hayabusa Gen 1 engine with the following modifications:-

Gen 2 Crankshaft, balanced.

Carrillo H section Con Rods

JE Pistons – Brand new.

New Road Cylinder head fitted with:-

Kibblewhite Spring Kit, Lightweight Racing, .490"" Lift, Suzuki®, GSX-1300R™ Hayabusa™,

Kibblewhite Seal, Red Viton, 5mm Stem x 0.340" Guide (Pack of 16)

Kibblewhite Valve Kit, High Performance Racing, Suzuki®, GSX-1300R™ Hayabusa™ with inlet valves +1 mm

Standard Cams timed for Supercharging used but Kent SUZ25 available.

Billet clutch centre & stronger springs fitted.

Full Nova Hayabusa gearbox with WR D Gearset, new beginning of 2019.

New output shaft and gear/circlips/ bushes Nova

DJ Racecars – Supercharger Drive system using 8 row drive belt

DJ Racecars – Plenum & boost tube fitted with Tial 50mm Blow off valve

SBD Dry Sump System

Geartronics Hall Effect gear position sensor.

Standard Hayabusa throttle bodies with reed valve modification to butterflies in case of blow back.

New Shells big ends and mains

New oil pump

New cam chain

New pistons    JE 12-1

Cometic head and case gaskets.

Cylinder head (supplied) ported , skimmed and 3 angle valve seat cut and built with new guide oil seals, Valves & Springs

Engine built with all new seals and gaskets

Spacer plate, .20mm base gasket and .75mm head gasket used to get 10.03-1 comp ratio
