The Mustang once had a 6 cylinder which then had to give way to the 289 8 cylinder. 4-fold carburetor and spider from Edelbrock were installed. Mickey Thomson cylinder heads. Racing seats that fit in time. 4-point seat belt. 3-speed gearshift - ideal for rallying. Disc brakes and aluminum radiators.
