2002 Ford Transit Race Weekend Campervan
Ford Transit 350 LWB, High Top van 2.4ltr diesel with 175000 miles with a recent internal camper conversion. MOT untill March 2023 with its last service 2000 miles ago. It drives well and is great to tow with even when fully loaded. It has a good maintenance history and hasn't let us down in our 2 years of ownership. The van itself has some scuffs, marks and dents which is to be expected of a 20 year old van but is in an overall good condition. It has a bluetooth remote connection stereo installed.
Internally it has a small double bed above garage, sofa converts into a good single bed. Van has hot and cold running water to shower, sink and kitchen sink. New 12v and 240v fridge, combined sink and 3 hob cooker and microwave. Thetford casette toilet and drop down sink with carver water heater. 240v hook up with plenty of internal plug sockets and 1 x 12v leisure battery which charges whilst driving or on hook up. 12v lights and water pump. Hot water heats whilst on hook up or generator. Eberspacher night heater for those chilly nights and mornings. Silver stick on window blinds and 2 x opening roof lights with fly screens and block out screens. 2 x slide opening side windows with curtains. There is plenty of cupboard space and storage.
Roof box to store the awning roof and side panels. Poles store in the garage and run through into living area via a hatch. Flooring stores on the sofa bench. The awning is in a clean and good used condition and the flooring is also in good condition.
The windscreen has had a crack in the lower corner since we brought it but it doesn't affect the MOT and hasn't got any worse since we have had it.
My son and I have used the van to tow our race car around the country and when not in garages the awning has been ideal to park 2 cars and still enough room to have several people sit out of the elements.
