Description:

Race Preparation.  The car was restored in Belgium during 2016 and shown at Essen where Jaguar's famous test driver, Norman Dewis, signed the roof apparantly stating "they never left the factory with panel gaps that good".  Purchased by me in 2017 from the well known classic car dealer, Albion Motorcars, race preparation and support has been provided by West Riding Jaguar and Aston Motorsport.

Engine newly built by Sigma Engineering in 2019 and not used since due to lockdown.  Just being checked and dyno'd by Sigma for this season who know the car well.

Gas flowed and ported cylinder head, cometic head gasket race camshafts, race pistons and forged connecting rods.  Remove oil filter housing with oil cooler.  Harmonic fluid damper lightweight zero balanced flywheel with twin plate AP clutch.

Cooling: standard correct radiator, re-cored in 2019.

Carburation: Triple SUHD8

Gearbox: Longtail E type gearbox fully rebuilt for 2022

Brakes: Girling 3 pot front calipers with 2 pot rears

Axle: Power lock 3.77

Exhaust:  Standard correct manifolds to custom made twin pipe stainless steel system

Fuel system:  ATL safety fuel cell with 80 ltr capacity, swirlpot plus 2x facet red top fuel pumps

Wheels: Triple laced 6" x 15" competition wheels colour matched to the car

Seat: New Suzuka Pro for 2022

Belts: New 6 point FHR for 2022

Fire Extinguisher: Refreshed for 2022

FIA HTTP:  Passport completed whilst racing with the HSCC and for the 2018 Le Mans Classic.   FIA papers should be obtainable with change of brake calipers and the addition of some light-weight trim.  NB: The car is being sold with original red leather trim.

Note:  The car registration number is 630 XVW.  Registration number RSY 955 is not included in the sale.
