Mazda MX-5 NC 2.5L

Description:
Currently located in Turin, Italy.
The perfect sleeper to embarrass those driving anything from an Audi RS4 to a Porsche GT3 on the twisties. Could also be a good starting point for a full-on race car.
The car is currently not road legal in Italy (engine type doesn't match the original 2.0L on the papers), have details and contacts to make it road legal for UK, and Slovenia, Czech Republic for EU (estimated cost around 5,000 EUR).
Most important modifications:
ENGINE: new Ford Duratec 2.5L, built by Racing Beat Europe (UK) with Omega pistons (compression circa 10.5:1) and custom high-rise cams (advance limited to 26deg).
ECM: stock, with ECUtek Race-ROM, flat-foot shifting, auto-blip, 4 map variants. Tuned by Dynotronics, cable and lifetime license included. ABS/ESP fully operational.
HEAT MANAGEMENT: custom water radiator (good for street, but will need a higher performing one for track use, along with a vented hood). Added a Setrab oil radiator to the existing water/oil exchanger. Added Stack Race Pro gauges for AFR, water temp, oil temp, transmission oil temp, and a ScadGauge II (which reads actual water temp from ECU, for redundancy). HVAC unit fully operational.
EXHAUST: Goodwin Racing Max-power 4-1 header with 1.87 inch primaries (delivers stock-like progression, can easily tweak with 2 inch primaries for max HP). Racing Beat 2.5 inch mid section with resonator. Stock back box.
INTAKE: 1-Goal / Dynotronics hydroformed aluminum intake manifold specific for 2.5 L engine (MZR/Duratec). Gram's 70mm throttle body and AEM 70mm long CAI, cone filter behind grille.
TRANSMISSION: NC3 6 speed manual transmission, stock EU-spec rear diff. MOSS Miata short shifter (feels like shifting a Formula FORD from the '70s). Flyin' Miata Happy Meal clutch kit with super-light flywheel (50% of stock weight).
SUSPENSION: Ohlins DFV Road & Track, serviced every 3 years. Powerflex purple bushings all round, including rear diff. Engine mounts close to stock stiffness and height.
BRAKES: Wilwood Superlite kit at the front (that's the bigger 328x28mm discs and 6-piston calipers), Wilwood Dynapro kit at the rear (328x20mm discs, 4-piston calipers plus e-brake calipers).
WHEELS: Volk Racing TE37-Saga Time Attack Edition, J8.5 et47, with 235/40R17 tires all around.
SPARES: Stock wheels (black painted, need a repaint), semi-stock brakes (front assembled slotted discs with hergal hubs, Pagid pads with good life in them), stock intake manifold, original NC1 6 speed manual transmission. The original engine was disposed of.
CONDITION:
Operationally in near-new condition.
Interior in near-mint condition, except for decoration bars (cheap to paint or replace).
Exterior needs TLC, wheel arches have minor deformations from the classic lady-in-a-SUV-slamming-their-door-into-your-car. Clear paint layer on rear section of the car has started to cloud (it's not in showcar condition anymore).
Given the light flywheel, hard bushings and short shifter, the transmission noises will scare anybody who's not accustomed to racing cars.
Chassis age: circa 140,000km (2007)
Engine age: circa 25,000km
Transmission age: circa 60,000km
The car was entirely followed by one shop, specialized in Miatas: Pit Garage, located in Turin.
COSTS: The buyer is responsible for any/all expenses, including but not limited to transportation, duties, customs, inspections, homologation.
REASON FOR SELLING: I have moved to the US where I now live. I don't get to drive it anymore, I am unable to arrange for the homologation from here, and the car cannot be imported into the US in its current state, would need to be homologated as a one-off prototype first.
