In 2022 Radical will be continuing to run its various UK Championships on the same weekends throughout the season, on the best and longest circuits the UK has to offer. These Radical Weekends will bring together Radical racers from our long-standing SR1 Cup and Challenge Championships and continue to grow the Radical Club Sprint and Club Enduro Cups – which new for 2021 season allowed many new drivers to sample the Radical Paddock over a race meeting to suit their needs. Radical racing has always been about the strong and passionate Radical community so bringing these series together again will enhance the spirit of “friends and competitors” that makes Radical racing fun and rewarding.  From a family privateer effort, to full end-to-end support from experienced Radical race teams, all are welcome to the Radical paddock. 

2022 RADICAL CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Challenge format continues in 2022 as a mix of sprint races with a longer endurance length finale. This format supports both Solo drivers and 2 driver teams, who can share the race time equally.   In-line with Radical’s other international championships, the Challenge welcomes back the Masters Class back for their second season featuring the awesome new turbocharged Radical SR10, as well as allowing Radical SR8, RXC and RXC Spyder models to join the Challenge grid. Solo drivers and driver teams can continue to contest the longstanding Supersport class for SR3s of all generations, including the recently-launched SR3 XX.

Continued for 2022 – CLUB SPRINT & CLUB ENDURO

Adding to the Radical race mix for 2022 are the Club Sprint & Club Enduro Cup titles, specifically aimed at the ‘Clubman' SR3 1300/1340/1500cc competitor.  Specifically formulated to help the privateer and self-run competitors as well as those looking to enter SR3 competition for the first time, Club Sprint and Enduro affords the amateur racer additional flexibility to juggle their racing thrills with a busy home and work life, and welcomes owners of older, factory-standard SR3 models.

4.           30/31 July – Silverstone GP*

5.           13 August – Oulton Park International

*SR1 Cup and Challenge will run a combined grid for the weekend
