Morris Minor 1000 prepared to full HRDC Speedwell specification, previous invitee and regular visitor to Goodwood, also eligible for HRDC Allstars, BRSCC Touring Greats, HSCC Walter Hayes Trophy, CTCRC and all other Classic Saloon and Touring Car Race Events, Sprints and Hill Climbs.
Body/Chassis - 1960 2 door Morris Minor 1000 shell, former Police Panda car, resprayed exterior and engine bay in Snowberry White and with a black interior, Rollcentre 6-point bolt in cage with additional door side impact bars, rear wings have had returns rolled for wheel clearance, heated front windscreen with Macrolon Polycarbonate door, side and rear windows.
Interior - Cobra Evolution Pro-fit seat (in date), Sparco 6-point harness (in date), handheld fire extinguisher, retained passenger and rear bench seat as per specification.
Engine - Full race 1293cc Hepworth MG Midget engine, all steeel MED Engineering internals, baffled sump, Swiftune camshaft and lightweight flywheel, custom made inlet manifold with twin HS4 1.5" SU's, Maniflow custom made full race exhaust manifold, RCM custom exhaust, race spec. engine steady bar, 16 row 235mm oil cooler, aluminium competition radiator with electric fan.
Recent Dyno tests suggests upwards of 125bhp and 102 ft lb of torque.
Transmission - MED Engineering Straight cut close ratio Midget gearbox, AP Racing 7.25" single plate F3 clutch, hydraulic conversion, PME roller bearing and gearbox front cover, propshaft balanced by FIROW, RDR Trans-X LSD with 4.55 diff. ratio, PME competition half shafts and rear hubs.
Fuel System - Alloy foam filled tank with sumped pick-up, competition regulator.
Brakes - Custom fitted Tilton 74 Series master cylinder, MG Midget front discs and race calipers with custom mounts, rear lightweight race drums, Tilton brake bias valve.
Front suspension - Morris Minor torsion bar/lever arm, full race torsion bars, fuller polybushed, negative camber, lower wishboneand eyebolt spacing, ARB custom mounted Koni progressive bump stops, RDR uprated shock absorbers, JLH lightweight alloy front hubs.
Rear suspension - Leaf spring/lever arm, 4 leaf springs de-cambered, lowering blocks, polybushed, JLH triangulated radius/ anti-tramp bars, RDR uprated shock absorbers with removable arms (for setting central when lowered), custom mounted Koni progressive bump stops.
Wheels & Tyres - 1 set of RDR 13" Weller steel rims with scrubbed Dunlop CR65 Historic regulation race tyres, 1 set of MBR 13" minilite rims with fresh Dunlop CR65 Historic regulation race tyres, currently sits on a set of MG Midget steel rims with new road tyres - for maneuverability and light testing.
Misc. - Supplied with current V5, tax exempt, a bible of invoices, data, dyno sheets, invitation from Goodwood, etc., offered with limited spares.
