BDH Special saloon mini project available. Original and complete Allen BDH Ford mini engine. Possibly the only original blocked engine left, it has a specially cast alloy Allen block which uses no spacer, and the sump flanges match the mini gearbox. The engine has a special thick tail one piece crank, big taper flywheel, large primary and special clutch hub. Virtually unused Cosworth forged rods, new Cosworth 81mm forged slipper pistons with single ring, Kent L1 new cams, head has new valves, springs, caps with good cam carrier and Hart magnesium cam cover. Gordon Allen used the 3 sync gearbox (the engine was done early 70's so 4 syncs few and far between!), it also has with it a Maguire type inside exit exhaust manifold and twin Bolgna 45 DCOE9's. The block has slight damage from the past and has been repaired. 

Frame built as close as possible to the Maguire mini pattern but using Custom Cages hoops and side bars. Steel shell cut to suit (not fitted), it uses the Maguire style cut down front subframe and fabricated rear arms. Low arms, and rear anti roll bar are new KAD items, new rear hubs and backplates with original minifin drums. Included are a set of 9x 13 Revolutions, new rack, new Racetech seat, front cut to take BDA, pair Maguire doors, rear glass wings, alloy floors main and boot, several ali bulkhead panels and V5 for original Mini 35 shell. Main bits it needs are front hubs, brakes, windows and an enthusiast.
