The 1992 Familia GTR was Mazda's official homologated entry into Group A rallying in the early 90’s before sadly Mazda pulled the plug before the car ever had a chance to compete as a works car despite showing great promise during testing driven by Finnish rally legend Hannu Mikkola.

This example has covered 45,131 miles from new (72,631 km) and is mechanically standard.One of 200 cars produced in factory UF white non sunroof model and powered by a 1.8L DOHC turbocharged engine producing 210bhp with full time 4WD and viscous LSD.

These cars are now extremely rare if not impossible to find in good standard condition with low kilometers in Japan.Now fast becoming a collectable piece of 90's rally history and deserving to form part of any serious rally collection.
