We are a leading Historic Racing Team and historic car preparer/restorer based at Silverstone Circuit. During the 2022 season we won a total of 26 Historic Motor Races, including two at the Silverstone Classic, and we compete in HFF, Formula Junior, Historic Formula 3, Guards Trophy and HGPCA categories.

We have a vacancy for a mechanic to work in our premises at Silverstone and also operate cars at various Historic Race meetings throughout the season.

Owned and run by Mike O'Brien, and established for over 40 years, we have been very successful in Historic Formula Ford under our "Classic Team Merlyn" brand whilst also competing and preparing cars for Formula Junior, HF3, GT and HGPCA F1.

This is a full time job, based at Silverstone, but requiring travel to a number of weekend race meetings throughout the country.

Experience in this type of work is necessary, as is a good demeanour with customers - the ability to drive is essential, and Van driving and towing of trailers would be beneficial.

We will also consider applications for enthusiastic trainee mechanic, also a full time vacancy.
