Austin Mini Cooper S Recreation
This car has never been raced or rallied since Ground up rebuild Built to Cooper s and Miglia Spec
I have owned this Heritage Mini ( with Certificate) since 2012 and have spent a great deal of money. The car is a road registered Tax and MOT exempt Mini Cooper s Recreation , The car started its lifer in 1964 as an Austin Special saloon. First of all the body was taken back to metal and rust panels cut out ( that means most ) properly fitted with carbon fibre/fibreglass front end with seperate bonnet. Properly fabricated inner metal wings fibre glass doors boolid and a carbon fibre boot floor with custom perspex side window and rear window ( all professionally bonded) the suspension is all fully adjustable with rose joints , 4 pot calipers with vented discs ( for 10 inch wheels) Fitted with Force racing alloys , spare set of identical wheels avaliable with Yokohama tyres very little mileage.
The car has a Richard longman 1293 fully prepped engine rolling road reading of 128bhp . the car is running on a short inlet manifold matched and flowed to a 40DCOE Weber , this lively engine is mostly Cooper S 1960's castings so has all the Mk1 fixings, the engine is mounted to a full spec Jack Knight straight cut box (new) with LSD diff , also straight but drop gears .
The interior of the car has a bespoke dashboard and also a full FIA roll cage
Body has has a 7 coat repaint in white with blue roof and arches . I have more pictures of the build
Loads of opertunaty to either use the car on the road ( as road Registered) or can be modified for classic and historic racing due to the age
I am open to offers
