1964 Ford Falcon Sprint FIA race car, road registered
Imported 1998 from California as solid road car. UK Reg No LVG 264B.
Quality seam welded bare shell build as full FIA race car, completed 2009.
2 races with John Young, original 302 cu in engine failed. New Steve Warrior 400 bhp full FIA spec 289 cu in engine installed, car sold.
Stored unused in quality storage until purchased in 2013 as an essentially new and unused car.
11 races 2014 – 2017, incl. Goodwood Revival 2014. Last raced Goodwood Members Meet 2017.
No accidents. Maintained in race ready 'on the button' condition, occasional road use, but I'm getting too old!
Engine routine rebuild end 2016, only 1 race since. Gearbox routine rebuild (sort clutch thrust race) end 2014.
3 sets exhaust systems:- 'Goodwood' open side pipes. New stainless double silenced ‘quiet’ system. New stainless ‘noise-test safe’ 105 Db track system.
2 sets wheels. Dunlop CR65 5.50M x 15 on Silver 5.5J SCP alloys. Blockley 205/70 x 15 road tyres on Silver 5.5J Compomotive alloys.
Excellent bodywork in 'Olympic Blue'. GRP panels, aluminium bumpers, polycarbonate windows.
2 race seats, race harnesses, plumbed-in fire extinguisher.
A very clean, solid, sorted, legal and versatile example, ready to go.
