This is the only Formula B car ever built by Royale, styled after the RP 3, but with beefier suspension pieces and reinforced frame to reflect the increased horsepower. The car was raced for a brief time in F3 trim by Paul Dalton before importation to the US. According to the gentleman I bought it from it was raced by Bill Scott ( of Summit Point fame ) before he acquired it some thirty years ago. It was sitting unrestored in his shop in California until I found it three years ago. Profile picture is how the car was found.
The following has been done so far, not much more to finish.
Frame stripped, inspected, repaired as needed and powdercoated.
Lotus Twin cam, fresh, built more for reliability and long life than absolute maximum HP, with steel internals.
Hewland 5 speed, rebuilt with new internals and completely fresh.
New bodywork, windscreen, fuel cell, floor pan, set of aluminum wheels. Original mag wheels included.
Molds to reproduce bodywork.
Suspension stripped, inspected and nickel plated.
What it needs to finish:
Wiring, brake lines, paint, detail original magnesium wheels, assembly. I have front wings but not the original rear wing.
Please, serious only. I have quite a bit of documentation, pics, etc. with history of the car from new, including rare factory photos.
I can assist the buyer with shipping arrangements and will crate the car for free.
