For sale is a Praga R1 Turbo, Chassis #031, including all FIA documents. The car is a perfect tracktool for trackdays, but also race ready to compete in highly competitive racing series like the GT & Prototype Challenge, the FIA CEZ and the SCC. The speed of the car is comparable to a LMP3 or GT3 car and generates a huge amount of downforce up to 1.5 times of its weight. The car can generate up to 3G of lateral force in corners. The cockpit of the car is really comfortable and provides the driver everything he needs to focus on driving and performing. Adjustable pedals and steering wheel fit nearly every driver inside of this car. It is also equipped with a ventilation system for the windshield and driver. With its full carbon monocoque and four crashboxes it deliveres the highest possible safety standards for a prototype car like this.
The car was built in 2015 (first driven in 2016) and is a multiple race winning car in the DMV GTC and GT & Prototype Challenge. After the last race in 2018 the car was totally rebuilt and revised. The car comes with a new engine, which is adjusted and tested on the dyno (0 running hours on track). Furthermore, the gearbox of the car is completely revised and has 0 running hours. The car also has a fully adjustable ABS and electronic power steering (EPS), which is normally not available for this kind of car and perfect for every learning or advanced driver. You can race this car with a centralized single seat for the driver but it also comes with a passenger seat to race with two persons. The car is also equipped with an ATL dual quick fill valve for refueling during a race within a few seconds.
The car can be run with just one additional person and the driver. The bodywork is easy to remove. The nose of the car can be removed just like the nose of a formula car. The cover of the engine is split into two parts, so just one person can remove it easily. Also parts like the diffusor are constructed to be handled by just one person. It has really low running costs and 30 hours on the race track ( idling, warm up, in- and outlap do not count, means about 60hrs running time compared to other cars ) before rebuilding, what equals more than one season of the racing series we did with it. Depending on the drivers style you can run a whole season with just one set of brake discs!
