The gearbox is a Hewland based longitudinal box and is easy to change ratio's All the engine ancillaries are contemporary for the car, and historically correct. The ECU is a modern programmable unit which still operates the Bosch/Kugelfischer mechanical injection which has a electronic control, none of the wiring or military plugs have been changed so the original Motronic system could still be used (with car).
