How often do you find the panels you mount end up with the holes flogged out?

Simple but effective, we designed this washer with a locating shoulder on the underside.

This provides better lateral support for the connection. It reduces the bearing load by increasing the connection hole surface area. 

This results in less movement & reduced wear. 

Manufactured of Aircraft alloy in a range of sizes to suit M5, M6 & M8 countersunk fasteners.

External size is 30mm.

Base has a 12x2mm deep locating shoulder on the underside.

Streamlined to reduce aerodynamic drag. Devoloped with aerodynamic efficiency in mind. Whether facing forward, sideward or rearward, shape result in improved flow, with decreased separation when compared with traditional shape washers. Some images are included for visualising the difference.

The problem we found is that when clamping softer materials such as composites, plastics etc the clamping load alone is not sufficient, the vibration & twisting forces often flog out the hole where the fastener passes through. The fastener thread or shank knocks out the internal hole surfaces.
